Johnsen Law was founded with a desire to maximize the value of legal services to businesses of all sizes and industries. Before beginning his legal career at large international law firms and eventually rising to the level of partner, Chris Johnsen managed outside counsel for his own businesses. With this unique perspective, Chris understands not only how to provide top-notch legal services, but how to deliver these services in a manner that best serves the business needs of his clients and maximizes value.

Johnsen Law obsessively focuses on maintaining the lowest overhead possible, automating processes, and utilizing technology to increase accuracy and efficiency. Johnsen Law offers flat fees whenever possible, believing that when flat fees are appropriately structured, they are beneficial to both the firm and the client. Johnsen Law also offers package options and limited scope representations. Clients win when they have options and fees are reasonable and predictable.

Johnsen Law commits itself to being responsive and providing an overall smooth, client-centric experience. What separates Johnsen Law is not only providing excellent quality legal services, but understanding its clients’ businesses and concerns.

With a dual JD/MBA, entrepreneurial spirit, and an array of business experience, Chris Johnsen offers his corporate clients truly business-centric legal counsel and representation as a strategic partner. His ability to view legal matters through the lens of an experienced business owner and manager allows him to deliver outstanding legal services that align with corporate goals.

Before starting his own firm, Chris was a partner at the large international law firm Holland & Knight, where he represented both small and large corporate clients in a wide range of business matters. He focuses his practice on business law and has experience representing clients in various industries, including energy, transportation, healthcare, technology, medical device, entertainment, retail, financial services, securities, and real estate. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Florida, and New Mexico.

Chris has owned and currently owns businesses in multiple industries, including advertising, food services, nightlife, retail, and real estate. These experiences have bestowed him with the unique business judgment and perspective that he brings to his corporate clients.
